A 200,000-DWT one-way channel and 50,000-DWT feeder channel will be built in the first phase;
A 200,000-DWT channel will be reconstructed to a 300,000-DWT one-way channel in the second phase. -

The overall length of channel will reach 14.9 km to accommodate the one-way tide-level navigation of 300,000-DWT oil repairing-ship and 10,000-TEU container ships and large offshore platforms (towing navigation). -

The overall length of channel will reach 2.5 km to accommodate the around-the-clock one-way navigation of loaded 100,000-DWT oil carriers and unloaded 150,000-DWT oil carriers, and the all-weather two-way navigation of 30,000-DWT oil carriers. -

The inner section of the north channel and the navigable water in the port will be reconstructed to accommodate the one-way navigation of 70,000-DWT bulk cargo ships and 50,000-DWT container ships.
