Proposed New Port Development ( Phase I ) in Manus Province, Papua New Guinea
Scale of construction
Four 2,000-DWT fishing vessel berths, one 20,000-DWT multi-purpose berth and one 3,000-DWT oil product berth are proposed and supporting facilities. The total area of construction land (Phase I) is 212,000 m2.
The total throughput of berths is 60,000t/a for fish discharging, 4,233TEU/a for containers, 60,000t/a for bulk cargoes and 200,000t/a for refined oil products.
