Utility Tunnel of Xizhong Island Start-up Area (Phase I)

The Utility Tunnel of Xizhong Island Start-up Area (Phase I) is located at the north bank of Xizhong Island Start-up Area. In accordance with the industrial layout of Start-up Area in Xizhong Island Petrochemical Park, the pipelines of utility tunnel are mainly used for the transmission of steam, desalted water, compressed air/instrument air, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and high-quality desalinated seawater from the utility center and desalination plant to the enterprises in start-up area; the utility tunnel is 7,311m in length (main part 7,120m), with a full width of 9m; and the branch tunnel is 191m in length, with a full width of 6m. Total investment: RMB 126 million.
