With a total investment of RMB 708 million, the Site Remediation in the Northern Part of Xizhong Island (Phase I & II) involves the following works, i.e. excavation volume 18.54 million cubic meters, backfill volume 22.27 million cubic meters, leveling area 8.66 million square meters, slope area 0.24 million square meters, construction of new temporary embankment 1,987m.
