Yongning Street is not only the transportation hub for internal connection and external communication of the economic zone, but also the main access road between port area and Shenyang-Haikou Expressway, therefore it is important for the development of Taiping Bay Harbor Economic Zone.

The north-south Yongning Street is designed as an urban trunk road connecting the terminal and Shenyang-Haikou Expressway, with a total length of about 12km and the design speed of 60km/h. There are 2 overpasses, 2 lake-crossing bridges and 2 culverts through Ping'an Lake and Yongning Lake along the route of Yongning Street.

The engineering design covers roads, bridges, water drainage, road landscape, intelligent transportation, lighting works and integrated pipe network.
