The overpass maintenance and reinforcement are initiated to properly restore the original functions of bridge components and prevent the further deterioration.

The measures taken include adhesion of prestressed carbon fiber boards, rust removal/inhibition of steel bars, structural adhesive painting or interface bonding completion, replacement of damaged supports/expansion joints/drainpipes and epoxy mortar repairs.
