Dalian Changxing Island 0.3Mt Crude Oil Terminal Approach Project

Located in the Gaonaozi sea area in the west of Changxing Island, the project construction of Dalian Changxing Island 0.3Mt Crude Oil Terminal has a berthing capacity of about 18.37 million Mt/a; the terminal working platform is connected to the root of east breakwater by a trestle bridge (length 316.3m); the cleats and dolphins are connected by a footbridge and cross structures; and the approach roads/bridges set at the east breakwater are 508.75m in length. 

The trestle bridge covers a total length of 310.3m and a total width of 13.6m, which connects the working platform and approach bridge at the breakwater. As a three-span tied bridge with concrete filled steel tube arch, the rise-span ratio of this trestle bridge is 1/5.7 based on the single span-length and calculated span of 102m and 97m respectively.

The project construction is commenced in 2013 and completed in 2015.
