0.3 Mt Crude Oil Terminal Approach Project at Dalian Port

This key project of Dalian Port is of great significance for the revitalization of old industrial bases in Northeast China as well as the urban planning and construction development of "Big Dalian".

The approach bridge is a simply supported five-span (112.6m) bottom-through rigid tied bridge with concrete filled steel tube arch. The Institute proposes the construction scheme of integral hoisting and erection after the on-shore assembly of bridge supports.

The project is awarded the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of China Port Engineering in 2007.
