Caofeidian Crude Oil Terminal Approach Project

The terminal approach bridge (0.3 Mt) in Caofeidian Port Area for the unloading of imported crude oil is the only oil transmission channel connecting the terminal and approach embankment.

With the structural type of bottom-through concrete-filled steel tubular arch, the approach bridge consisting of 6 spans (single-span 122m) is 767.3m in length.

The construction has created a new record in terms of hoisting length and weight among similar domestic sea-crossing steel arch bridges.

The bridge project is awarded the Second Prize of Excellent Design (Ministry of Education) and the Liaoning Provincial Second Prize of Excellent Design in 2009.
